Involving Kids In The Laundry Routine

At our house, with the young age of my children, laundry is something they love to be involved with. Well, at least my girls are, ages 4 and 7. They want to help with every step. I’m trying hard to keep them involved so they will continue to help me as they grow older. My 10 year old son is not as excited as they are, but participates without too much grumbling, doing his part to get the job done....

Milestone Birthday Countdown

But, with all of these thoughts about birthdays, I’ve stumbled upon a super fun way to celebrate milestone birthdays. I think every culture, religion, and family has different birthdays that they consider milestones. Whether it be the age where you start driving, the age you get to wear makeup, or the big 40…50…60…, you get the idea. So, because milestones are such a big deal, how fun would it be to do a little birthday countdown, leading up to the grand day?...

Pipe Cleaner Yarn Spiders To Spook For Halloween

It can get a little nuts all the places we hid him. For the game: I place the yarn spiders in my son’s room under his pillow, and once he finds him, he’ll hide the spider some place else. Romping Around With Rainbow Ribbon Rings

We celebrated this book by making our own Rainbow Ribbon Rings. We used shower curtain rings and scraps of ribbon, representing all colors of the rainbow. We’ve also made these fun Ribbon Rings, wrapping them around the whole ring and leaving the ribbon long and flowing to play with....
