Living With A Special Needs Child

We have three great boys! Our youngest, Noah, is 6 years old. He loves super heroes, school, karate, baseball, tubing behind the water ski boat and jumping on the trampoline. Noah is also epileptic. Noah’s first seizure occurred when he was 6 months old. During the next 4 years, he averaged about 150 tonic clonic seizures (grand-mal) per year. French Hot Chocolate Recipe This is the best hot chocolate you’ll ever make. You’ll toss out those little packets with the dehydrated marshmallows. Basically, it’s a chocolate mousse mixed with hot milk. It’s as simple as that. This is one case when less is more and simple is elegant....

Organizing Puzzles

Here’s a couple things I do to keep my puzzles organized. Buy 1 or 2 gallon plastic zip bags. Place one board puzzle inside and zip the top. If you buy the 1 gallons, they may not zip closed, so just keep them stored upright. Then they’ll always have the right pieces together in the same bag. Sometimes I’ll write the same number or letter on the back of each puzzle piece....

Passion Fruit Curd Bars

I remember when my mom would make Lemon Bars for parties. It was hard to wait for the gooey filling to cool enough to cut them into bars. Sometimes if I was lucky she’d let me sprinkle them with powdered sugar and I’d try my best not to get it all over the place. My youngest is no different. If you are like lemon bars and the flavor of passion fruit, you’ll love these bars....
