Make Disney Sticker Story Starters On Your Travel To Disneyland

You could have your kids pick out their favorite Disney character stickers or you could just grab different ones on your own before your trip. My kids LOVE Frozen, Toy Story, and the classic Disney characters- so these are the ones we chose. Of course we had to choose a set of Frozen stickers, as well as Toy Story and good ol’ classic Mickey Mouse Clubhouse stickers. I’m excited to see what stories my kids will tell as we travel to Disney World!...

Makin A Splash With Bathtime Toys

To help my kids get in the tub, we made some Foam Bath Toys cut into all kinds of shapes. These are made with crafting foam sheets, available at Walmart or most crafting stores. You can trace the shape first or simply cut them out. If your child is okay to use scissors, let them make the shapes they want, even if they’re crazy. They stick great onto the walls of the tub once wet, but DON’T leave them on the walls after their bath....

Mix And Match Monster Flip Book

To make this project super-easy, I made a basic blob shape template for our monsters, along with cutting lines for the three tabs. These print two on a page, so print a stack and cut your pages in half. {Download the monster flip book template} Create your monsters with your favorite drawing materials. If your kids aren’t into monsters, make animals, aliens, or crazy critters instead. We talked about all the things we could add to our monsters – horns, wings, tentacles, antenna, hair, spots, stripes, plus any number of eyes, noses, mouths, arms, etc....

Organizing Kids Craft Supplies

I’m partnering with Ziploc® brand to help in our craft supply clean up! They have fantastic new and improved easy open tabs for their plastic bags, making it even more efficient to craft. My kids can get to their pony beads in a flash, rather than attempting to find the opening in several tries. If we can get all our supplies in one handy area, we’ll be that much more efficient as we craft....

Quilt Along Series Sewing On Borders

For this project you will need four strips of fabric measuring 3 ½” x 42″ (or the width of the fabric as it comes.) It’s a good idea to measure the length of the quilt sides before you sew, rather than just starting at one end, sewing on a strip, and cutting-off the excess after. This will help to keep the quilt ‘square.’ This is the easiest and fastest way I’ve found for measuring your border lengths....
