Supplies for Rolled Ice Cream Balls:

your favorite flavor of ice cream small scoop, mine is a 1-1/2 inch scoop small bowls toppings: pretzels, chocolate chips, chocolate mint chunks, chocolate toffee chunks small tray wax paper

TIP: You want your ice cream as FROZEN as possible First we made some pretzel toppings, (although after too long in the freezer, these got a little soft and not so crunchy. These would be better for just a quick topping, but still really good!). Place your pretzels into a sturdy zip plastic bag. Roll your rolling pin over the bag until they are crunched.

Scoop your ice cream and drop it into the toppings. You can use a popsicle stick, a spoon, or even your hand if you’d like.

Place your topping ball onto a tray lined with wax paper. You’ve got to work fast, as things start to melt. Once you have all your balls into your tray, place it back into the freezer.

Serve your topping balls on a plate or in a bowl. Let your guests decide if they want the same topping on each ice cream ball or they can mix them up in one bowl. OR if you’re not feeling like taking the time to prep this ahead of time, you can simply set up a topping bar. This is just as fun, especially for a party.
