How do you make a salt coffee scrub?
Make sure you don’t use the last of your ground coffee in this salt scrub recipe because the smell will have you making a cup of coffee to sip on before you use it. Homemade salt scrubs make a great gift for Mother’s Day, birthdays, or as part of a home spa day gift pack for someone special.
Ingredients:
1 cup Epsom salt 1/4 cup ground coffee 1/3 cup coconut oil
For our recipe, we use Dr Teal’s Pure Epsom Salt, 100% ground Arabica coffee, and organic virgin coconut oil.
Instructions:
There are only 3 ingredients in this coffee body scrub, which makes it quick and easy to make too.
Combine the Epsom Salt with the ground coffee in a bowl. You will need to liquify coconut oil before adding it to your bowl. Put it into a microwave-safe bowl and gradually melt for 15-seconds at a time. It will get hot quickly so pull it out after 15 seconds and stir it, you’ll find that as you are stirring it will continue melting. Before adding it to your Epsom salts and coffee grounds make sure the liquid is cool so it doesn’t dissolve the salt or coffee grounds.
